TI Calculator Based Laboratory System 2

TI Calculator Based Laboratory System 2

This instrument contains a Built-In User Program which allows you to transfer the program to your calculator with the push of a single button. You can start collecting data right away, or set up the CBL2 for more sophisticated applications. The CBL-2 also contains a flash memory to store multiple experiment trials, experiment setups, or other programs. The CBL 2 and graphing calculator become one unit for portable single-handed use. The innovative cradle system will accept the student and ViewScreen versions of the TI-73, TI-82, TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-84 Plus, TI-84 Plus Silver, TI-86, TI-89, and the TI-89 Titanium. The CBL2 kit includes 3 probes: an improved stainless steel temperature probe, voltage probe, and light probe. Also includes an innovative cradle system and a six-inch link cable. Also includes a Teacher Guide containing experiments for science and math, a TI resource CD, & 4 AA batteries.

 Other Items from Data Collection

Low-g Accelerometer - This is the best choice for most experiments. Use it for studying the one-dimensional motion of a car (real and toy), elevator, pendulum bob, or amusement park ride.
25-g Accelerometer - This is great for studying one-dimensional collisions or any motion with larger accelerations
3-Axis Accelerometer - This is really three low-g accelerometers mounted at right angles and all placed in a small box. Use it for studying the complex motion of an amusement park ride, a bungee jumper, or simply a toss in the air.
Barometer - Our Barometer can be used for either weather studies or for lab experiments involving pressures close to normal atmospheric pressure. The pressure range is 24 to 32 inches of Hg (0.8 to 1.05 atm) absolute pressure.
Charge Sensor  -  The Charge Sensor is used as an electronic electroscope. Unlike a traditional electroscope, the Charge Sensor can make quantitative measurements.
CO2 Gas Sensor - The CO2 Gas Sensor measures gaseous carbon dioxide levels in the range of 0 to 5000 ppm. This probe is great for measuring changes in CO2 levels during plant photosynthesis and respiration.
Colorimeter - This 4-wavelength Colorimeter is great for Beer's law experiments, determining the concentration of unknown solutions, or studying changes in concentration vs. time.
Conductivity Probe - This probe is great for environmental testing for salinity, total dissolved solids (TDS), or conductivity in water samples.
Current Probe - Use the Current Probe to measure currents in low-voltage AC and DC circuits. With a range of ±0.6 A, this system is ideal for use in most "battery and bulb" circuits. Use it with the Differential Voltage Probe to explore Ohm’s law, phase relationships in reactive components, and much more.
Differential Voltage Probe - Use the Differential Voltage Probe to measure low-voltage AC and DC circuits. With a range of ±6.0 V, this system is ideal for use in most "battery and bulb" circuits.
Digital Control Unit - The Digital Control Unit (DCU) gives you an easy way to use LabPro, CBL 2™, or original CBL™ digital ports for exciting, do-it-yourself projects. It allows you to provide useful current (up to 600 mA) for controlling electrical devices.
